Candidates having experience in rice plant will get preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct quality inspection of paddy, rice, and by-products at receiving, processing, and final stages
Monitor cleaning, drying, milling, grading, and polishing processes to ensure quality standards
Perform laboratory tests (moisture, broken %, foreign matter, chalkiness, etc.)
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO)
Identify quality issues and coordinate with production team for corrective actions
Maintain QC reports, logs, and documentation accurately
Supervise QC assistants and ensure proper sampling and testing procedures
Monitor storage conditions to prevent contamination and quality deterioration
Handle customer complaints related to product quality and conduct root cause analysis
Ensure calibration of lab equipment and proper housekeeping in QC lab
Support audits (internal/external) and ensure compliance readiness
