∎ Location: BRAC University
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide day-to-day support on a variety of actions of the HR department
∎ Maintaining and updating employee records, managing HR databases, and handling paperwork related to employee benefits, leaves, and other HR-related processes
∎ Assisting in preparing reports and presentations on compensation and benefits metrics, cost projections, and budgeting
∎ Involvement in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and supporting in the hiring process
∎ Managing employee relations issues and addressing employee concerns or grievances. This may involve conducting investigations and working towards conflict resolution
∎ Keep up to date with HR updates potentially affecting Academic and Admin staff
∎ Participate in HR related projects and provide appropriate HR support to the team as well as Preparing HR-related reports and analytics
∎ Participate in various projects focused on continuous improvement
∎ Writing meeting minutes, memos, office orders and circulars etc.
∎ Assisting with compliance matters, including labor laws, employment regulations, and other legal requirements related to HR
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year of professional experience in similar position
∎ Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
∎ Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
∎ Should have good communication skills especially in writing
∎ Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse groups
∎ Strong organizational and planning skills
∎ Must be self-motivated, hardworking and flexible regarding working hour
