Job Context:
∎ Save The Children Bangladesh has established a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection Isolation and Treatment Centre (SARI ITC) in Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar District. This centre provides services for Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and Host Communities. Save the Children ensures appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for everyone associated with treatment, care or services in SATI ITC.
∎ Currently, we are expanding SARI ITC operations, increasing the number of patient beds to 60 (sixty) in the facility. In this regard, we would like to invite interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.
∎ Contract length: Contractual up to 31 December 2021
∎ Job Location: Teknaf in Cox`s Bazar district
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' work experience in WASH programming, preferably with non-profit organizations in emergency response context
∎ Previous experience of working in integrated Health and WASH activities in a public health program will be of high preference
∎ Previous experience of managing and training WASH team members including staff with non-technical background
∎ Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability in an emergency integrated Health and WASH context
∎ Excellent team building and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multicultural team
∎ Willingness and ability to work in a high-risk work environment in this COVID-19 pandemic context
∎ Demonstrated ability of standard report writing, excellent computer operation, and strong communication skills
