Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Contribute to implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals.§ Must have proven professional experience in software development using the Laravel framework.
∎ Experience in API, version control and software integration.
∎ Have a passion for software.
∎ Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Database, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
∎ Support technical development components of the existing system.
∎ Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules.
∎ Develop multi-tier technical solutions integrating front-end, server-side and database code.
∎ Participate openly and constructively in code peer review and other quality control activities.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities /plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ Maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.

∎ Nature of Job: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff (Core Position).
∎ Job Location: UCEP Head Office, Dhaka.
∎ Job Purpose: To develop web-based software using the Laravel framework. To support and implement Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and organizational strategies for UCEP Bangladesh at the central and regional levels in line with organizational policy guidelines and relevant national regulations in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals, and relevant country laws.
