Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Social Worker is primarily responsible for the implementation of child protection community-based activities as part of the Rohingya refugee response, in particular for vulnerable and at-risk children.
∎ The Social Worker is responsible for arranging CBCPC meetings, Adolescent clubs/ Child clubs/ parents meetings, ensuring referrals for children, and direct service provision of follow-up for vulnerable and at-risk children, in line with their needs, designing and decorating the MPCAC and all other CP facilities with a high level of art and craft skills.
∎ Using materials, make props for IPT, dresses, and paint in MPCAC walls in a colorful and child-friendly manner.
∎ This incumbent will be developing presentations, and documentation with high quality, preparing graphic designs for documents, and publications, and designing banners, festoons, billboards, signboards, and other visibilities
∎ He/she will also be responsible for providing support in MPCAC in line with internal standards and guidelines.
∎ The Social Worker is responsible for documenting information, capacity building of the parents and another stakeholder, supporting the child/family through ensuring child protection, ensuring data protection in line with internal protocols, providing daily updates to the supervisor, and preparing regular reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated experience and/or proven capacity to work with vulnerable children and families in a humanitarian response context
∎ Elementary-level understanding of child protection and community-based approaches
∎ Strong technical knowledge of graphic design with skills in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant software
∎ Ability to produce high-quality designs for banners, festoons, billboards, signboards, and other visibility materials
∎ Experience working with children and families
∎ Training facilitation and capacity-building expertise through life skill and creative skills development sessions for adolescent and child club activities
