Responsibilities & Context:

The Officer – Retail & Cards Investment Collection will be responsible for monitoring retail/Cards investment portfolio, identifying delinquent accounts, and implementing effective recovery strategies. This role focuses on minimizing risk, enhancing portfolio quality, and ensuring timely recovery of overdue accounts. The incumbent will work under the guidance of respective line managers and coordinate with branch, operations, and collections teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve recovery targets and implement corrective measures to improve collection efficiency.

  • Monitor retail investment/Credit Cards portfolio to track delinquency trends, NPIs, and potential risk exposures.

  • Engage with delinquent clients professionally to regularize accounts and convert NPI clients to regular status.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of high-risk accounts and recommend preventive or corrective actions.

  • Implement structured recovery plans for overdue accounts in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Follow up on delinquent accounts through calls, emails, field visits, and legal recovery processes as required.

  • Coordinate with branch managers, relationship managers, collections teams, and outsourced recovery agencies for efficient recovery operations.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of recovery activities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

  • Any other task assigned by competent authority.
