• Bachelor/Honors

• Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM)/ Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Management/ Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA)/ Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) preferable.

Job Context:

Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. is seeking a qualified and dedicated candidate for the position of Officer – Purchase to strengthen its Supply Chain Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track procurement demands to ensure compliance with purchasing requirements.

• Generate and issue Purchase Orders (PO) while overseeing the procurement process from order placement to shipment and factory arrival.

• Coordinate with the Logistics Department to arrange transportation by road, air, or sea, ensuring the timely delivery of materials.

• Organize partial deliveries as needed to meet production demands.

• Prepare and process payment documents, ensuring smooth payment disbursement to suppliers.

• Liaise with various departments, including Finance, Production, and Warehouse, to collect material specifications and keep stakeholders informed on the procurement status.

• Consolidate purchase orders and requisitions to place material orders efficiently.

• Maintain strong business relationships with national and international suppliers to sustain long-term procurement partnerships.

• Track, document, and maintain a database of all purchase orders, updating stakeholders regularly.

• Stay updated with industry best practices by attending relevant procurement and supply chain management training sessions.
