Experience: Candidates having experience in toiletries manufacturing will be preferred.
Functional/Technical Competencies: Understanding of formulation techniques, lab testing methods, and chemical safety.
Leadership Behavioral Competencies: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in formulation and sample preparation for cosmetic (e.g. skin, hair, personal care) and detergent (e.g. liquid, powder, bar) products.
Conduct laboratory testing for pH, viscosity, stability, foaming, and sensory analysis.
Maintain accurate lab records, raw material usage logs, test results, and formulation sheets.
Follow SOPs for experiments and assist in process validation for new products.
Help prepare samples for product evaluations, customer trials, and internal use.
Support in conducting stability studies and compatibility testing under various conditions.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the R&D lab and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
Coordinate closely with the R&D Manager to meet development deadlines and project goals.
Maintain proper records for regulatory and audit purposes (e.g., ISO, GMP)
Collaborate with QC, Production, and Procurement for material testing and trial batching as needed.
