Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA / B.Sc. (Eng.) or any other relevant subject from any recognized university.
∎ Certification in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Purchasing goods and service according to BPGIP (BRAC Procurement Guideline and Implementation Procedures) ensuring compliance issues as well as maintaining on time delivery.
∎ Develop item catalogue and assist in preparing procurement requisition, including specifications and other relevant fields in it.
∎ Prepare and send RFQ to potential bidders in applicable case, collect quotation within timeline, bid evaluation, commercial evaluation, awarding, delivery follow up, bill management, etc.
∎ Conducting regular sourcing for better supply market exploration and reducing the inventory level by ensuring the lead time properly.
∎ Processing bill and ensuring payment against purchase orders within SLA after receiving the bills and Challans.
∎ Taking prompt actions for emergency purchase in emergency case and big purchase for special occasion.
∎ Ensure compliance and make sure all procurement activities of HCMP are conducted following the BPGIP.
∎ Maintaining a close relation with concerns Programmes, Support Units, Accounts Department, and other internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure smooth operation at lowest possible cost.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven understanding of system knowledge/ strategic procurement/ warehousing/ supply chain
∎ Knowledge on Supply Chain Management
∎ Smooth communication, coordination with all internal and external stake holders in terms of meeting compliances of BPGIP
∎ Computer knowledge on Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel)
∎ Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Presentation skills
∎ Ability to manage a varied workload, work under pressure, priorities and meet deadlines
∎ Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the organization
∎ Focused on delivering results by taking calculated-risks and problem-solving approach
