Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Officer - MEAL is responsible to lead Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning component for Safety Net System for the Poorest (SNSP) Project.
∎ The incumbent works under the guidance of MEAL Manager and Project Manager to maintain database, analyse and prepare reports routinely within stipulated timeline.
∎ S/he needs to closely work with monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) team and provide assistance to develop and implement MEAL plan for the SNSP Project.
∎ S/he has to assist in planning, designing and implementing an effective M&E system for the project, and ensure timely submission of quarterly and project ending MIS and results reports.
∎ The Officer MEAL coordinates to collect related information from working location and prepare routine reports, provides technical assistance to the implementing partner.
∎ S/he also needs to develop case studies, lessons learned, good practices etc. with support from field based team and ensure a high level of visibility of the project activities by widely disseminating the projects communication products to GoB, Donors, Media, relevant authorities etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years' working experience in MEAL function in non-profit organizations or humanitarian response program
∎ At least 02 years' experience of working in database or information management
∎ Ability to collect quantitative and qualitative data, undertake data entry and basic processing/analysis of data
∎ Ability to work in a team with flexibility to undertake challenging tasks and adapt to different working conditions
∎ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
∎ Fluency in Bengali and Chittagonian, with basic communication skills in English
∎ Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach in problem solving
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation skills and can work as part of a team
