Job Context:
∎ Digital Innovation for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW), Government of Bangladesh is an important component of MaMoni MNCSP. Responsibility of the ICT INNOVATION team is to lead the development of designs and specifications for software solution as per requirements set by stakeholders. The team is serving as technical expert in providing ICT solutions to the conceptualization, design and operationalization of complex health information system. The team working with MIS Departments of DGHS and DGFP of MOH&FW, USAID technical focal point.
∎ Save the Children invites applications for the above mentioned position for MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP). Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.
∎ Contract length: Regular
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years working experience in Software/Applications Development.
∎ Clear understanding of programming skills in OOP - Java
∎ Sound technical skills on ANDROID and Linux platform
∎ Excellent knowledge on RDBMS - PostgreSQL and SQLite, SCM - Git
∎ Knowledge with third party synchronization service - SymmetricDS
∎ Familiarity with latest software technologies and methodologies - Cloud, Big data, Agile, etc.
∎ Good communication skill, positive attitude and the aptitude needed.
