Experience:
Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline preferably URP/Development Studies/Statistics/ Social Science or any relevant subject.
Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation
Familiar with Core Humanitarian standards.
Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
Ability to work in a team
Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
Intermediate level of computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Power Point, SPSS & other database program. Proven skill in quantitative and report writing
This position is responsible for overall information management as well as Monitoring and Evaluation of the WASH project activities including beneficiary information management through analysing all sorts of information, current database and by taking regular input form field team. S/He will ensure day to day monitoring and cooperate with MIS and CFM team. One of the main responsibilities will be data collection from camp, compiling, preparing daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly report as per the project requirement.
Design and implement the M & E system :
Support development of M&E framework closely aligned to the project theory of change.
Design and develop different types of project-related monitoring tools of facility and infrastructure and survey protocols for documentation of the project interventions and tracking progress.
Develop the overall framework/ reporting channel of the M&E activities.
Design and develop a variety of project-related monitoring tools, including-Facility and infrastructure assessment checklists, Survey protocols (e.g., household surveys, Baseline and Endline survey, PDM, ODM, focus group discussions, key informant interviews), Data collection forms (both paper and electronic), Standardized reporting templates.
Implement participatory M&E approaches, engaging program participants in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Document the process and outcomes of participatory activities.
Maintain an up-to-date Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) to track project progress.
Technical program routine monitoring coordinated to support annual donor reporting.
Document case studies to showcase project impact and best practices.
Organize and maintain spatial data of all WASH facilities in accordance with the relevant data management protocols.
Perform advisory, technical assignments and mapping of WASH interventions in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Data analysis, storage & reporting:
Compile, aggregate and analyze data and information elements required to produce standardized information products.
Prepare and operationalize Database to capture routine monitoring and processing functions installed and maintained.
Undertake regular field visits to support implementation of M&E, CFM and check the quality of data produced
Data aggregation products and analysis produced to meet requirements for quarterly & annual progress reports
Prepare and submit schedule reports timely.
Provide several scheduled internal and external reports to the team and the donor as per requirements.
Collecting data through apprehensive monitoring, discuss the findings with manager and prepare monitoring documents as per project requirement
Prepare monitoring report of WASH in every month or as per instruction.
Manage and support M&E capacity building and performing M&E functions during the life of the project:
Support the operation in the analysis of processed data and information and perform data quality and consistency control.
Train field staff on the use of data collection forms, how to enter data and how to analyze it. Also, train field staff on the protection of sensitive data, including both hardcopies and electronic data.
Identify M&E capacity gaps among project staff and develop and implement appropriate training and supervision plans.
In project regular learning assessment with the frequency of quarterly/semi-annual/annual established
Support other projects as per management requirement
Lead the key learning:
Prepare consolidated progress reports for the management including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation and provide specific recommendation independently
Organizational learning, strengths and challenges are properly documented,
Quarterly review meetings and semi-annual learning events completed.
Organizational capacity of project team strengthened
Apply learning from M&E information and share key information with community / partners.
