Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility of the construction related works. Identify gaps in the infrastructure in the project sites and recommend for appropriate corrective actions and follow up on functionality.
∎ Ensure quality construction of schemes ensuring good maintenance and sustainable processes are put in place.
∎ Assist the team in surveys, assessments, designs and supervise road/plinth, canal, constructions and other technical areas where required.
∎ Review and validate as-built drawings, BOQs for all planned constructions
∎ Make sure that all required permits are ready and assist in preparation of technical estimates, design and resource management plan
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show status of the work, status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction site
∎ Supervision of technical staff and contractors to ensure compliance to the contractual agreements and design specifications
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries of the project individuals, partners, stakeholders of engineering topics and issues.
∎ Necessary & effective coordination with GO, NGOs, UPs and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly report and plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ An understanding of project management
∎ Computer knowledge on MS Office, MS Excel, Power Point and familiar with Internet applications
∎ Experience on report writing.
∎ Ability to communicate information effectively
∎ Good communication skill both in English & Bangla
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license.
Salary:
∎ BDT 55,000 to 62,500 per month including bonus
