Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma/B.Sc. in Nursing from an accredited academic institution and recognized & registered by Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BMDC)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Save The Children in Bangladesh invites interested and potential candidates to apply for the above mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.
∎ Contract length: Up to May 31, 2023
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three 3 year's experience, preferably, clinical experience in primary and emergency healthcare, tropical infections, and diseases
∎ Experienced working in 24/7 health facilities and staff, including previous experience supervising and mentoring other health staff
∎ Excellent communication skills and a willingness to be respectful, kind, sensitive and empathize with all beneficiaries and their cares
∎ Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and challenging working conditions
∎ Demonstrable ability of basic report writing
∎ Prepared to live and work in an uncertain security environment
∎ Ability and willingness to frequently travel and stay in the field (even night shifts)
∎ Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children's aims, values and principles
∎ Ability to communicate in written and spoken English and local (Chittagonian) language
∎ Registered and licensed to practice by the Country's Medical Board
