Must have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and LAN/WAN setup.
Should be proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues before they impact users.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to work during off-hours or weekends if required for urgent network issues or maintenance.
Must have the ability to document technical issues and solutions clearly for internal use.
Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Mikrotik, Cisco, or similar network devices will be an added advantage.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity and network safety practices is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, servers, WiFi routers, MikroTik, OLT, ONU, and media converters.
Implement and manage routing protocols (Static, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Configure and manage TCP/IP services: FTP, SSH, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, HTTP/HTTPS.
Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure with VLANs, VPNs, NAT/DNAT, and firewall security.
Provide user-level technical support in Windows (7/8/10, Server) and Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu).
Perform Linux system administration including installation, updates, and security configurations.
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance using tools such as Wireshark, PuTTY, VMware, and VNC.
Manage bandwidth, hotspot solutions, PPPoE servers, and enforce security features such as DHCP snooping, ARP inspection, ACLs, and port security.
Support email systems including Microsoft Outlook configuration and troubleshooting.
