Responsibilities & Context:
- Overall responsible for managing the sales operation for the country.
- Periodically assess the channel capabilities/gaps and initiate improvement programs.
- Prepare the annual sales target and project revenues from sales in consultation with Country Head and Marketing Head.
- Review month-on-month country sales performance, review the next three months sales forecast and finalize sales plan for monthly S&OP planning meeting.
- Monitor the performance of senior sales team (RSM/ASM) and identify improvement area/ training requirements.
- Review and approve the sales target set by each RSM for his region.
- Create sales and distribution policies like sales team and channel partners’ incentive structure, norms covered under terms of trade etc.
- Present / update management on key performance and strategies aligned to business goals.
- Approve policies for classification of retail outlets as Gold/Silver/Platinum, subject to Country Head’s approval
