Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Islamic Studies/Arabic/Kamil/Al-Fiqh and Legal studies from UGC approved any recognized educational institution having no 3rd class in academic records.
∎ Must have sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office in both Bengali and English.
∎ Obtained any professional degree in Islamic Banking or Islamic Banking Diploma will be added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure implementation of Islamic Banking Guidelines, Instruction, Circulars issued by Central Bank, Regulatory Authority and by the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank.
∎ To conduct research on Shariah issues/New Products development (Deposit & Investment) and provide necessary assistance to the Committee on Shariah Principle Compliance.
∎ To assist Member Secretary of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank in performing various banking activities for smooth operations in accordance with Islamic Shariah.
∎ To prepare memo/minutes for meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee.
∎ To conduct Shariah Inspection/investigation on the branches following guidelines of the Bank thus prepare inspection report and follow up the compliance.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 07-10 years working experiences in Islamic Banking including minimum 3 years of experiences as Muraquib.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Age not over 45 years (Age limit may be relaxed for highly qualified/skilled and business oriented personnel)
∎ Candidates who started their career as Management Trainee/ Probationary Officer from any Islamic Bank will be given preference.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and Islamic economics.
∎ Sound knowledge on Islamic Banking Products, Guidelines on regulatory authority and operational activities.
∎ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both Bangla, Arabic and English.
