Educational Requirements:

∎ Candidates having professional degree in Shari'ah Law (CSAA/CIPA)/Certification in Islamic Financing, will be an added advantage.

∎ DBH has recently received the license from Bangladesh Bank for operating Islamic Financing businesses under Islamic Financing Wing (IFW). To support the Shari`ah based businesses, the Company is looking for a deserving individual for the following position: Muraqib / Shari`ah Compliance Officer - Islamic Financing Division
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This job entails the following major responsibilities:
∎ To conduct Shari'ah inspection of the Islamic Financing Wing (IFW) of DBH in order to ensure implementation of Shari'ah Principles and Islamic Banking Guidelines of Bangladesh Bank.
∎ To ensure implementations of the recommendations/decisions of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of the Company (SSC).
∎ To visit to all DBH IFW branches time to time for scrutinizing documents related to Islamic financing and deposits and prepare report based on the inspection and follow up for maintaining compliances of Shari'ah.
∎ To provide necessary feedbacks, based on findings of Shari'ah compliance issues to the Head of Islamic Financing Division and Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of the Company.
∎ To guide and coach the concerned personnel of all DBH IFW branches in order to ensure proper implementation of Shari'ah in Islamic Financing operations of the Company.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Candidate should ideally have minimum 7 years of relevant experience with any Bank/NBFI with minimum 3 years' experience as Muraqib/Shari'ah Compliance Officer.
∎ age not over 40 years.
∎ Candidates should have excellent command over English Language & computer applications.
∎ Should have excellent analytical ability with good leadership & communication skills.
