Education:
  • MSC/BSC in CSE, EEE, ICT, Physics, Mathematics/ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Law, Banking, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

  • Professional banking qualifications and relevant certifications (CAMS, CGSS, CEAF, CTFP, CDCS, and CETS) will be considered an added advantage.

  • No 3rd Division/Class or equivalent CGPA/GPA in any academic record is acceptable.

  • Age At most 38 years
  • Minimum 4 to 8 years of active commercial banking experience, with at least 2–3 years dedicated strictly to Internal Audit, CRM/Credit administration, Trade Operations or AML/CFT functions.

  • The professionals who commenced their career from MTO/PO will get preference.

  • Experience as BAMCLO will get preference.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2012 (amended 2015), Anti-Terrorism Act, and updated BFIU master circulars/guidelines.

  • Advanced Data Manipulation Skills (Mandatory): Expert mastery of MS Excel (Advanced formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables,) to handle, filter, and merge large text/CSV data dumps from CBS rapidly.

  • Deep understanding of banking instruments, cash operations, clearing processes, agent banking, card transactions, credit transaction, trade transaction and digital banking ecosystems (including app-based transactions).

  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning and technical writing skills in English and Bengali to clearly articulate complex findings in investigation/audit summaries.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 38 years as on 08/08/2026



Responsibilities & Context:

To reinforce our second-line defense capability, we are seeking a highly analytical, data-savvy compliance professional to join our core Transaction Monitoring & Reporting Unit under AML and CFT Division. This role is dedicated to the forensic analysis of multi-channel banking data to safeguard our network from financial crimes. We are seeking a highly analytical and seasoned compliance professional for the mentioned position:

Division: AML & CFT Division

Rank: Executive Officer (EO) to Senior Executive Officer (SEO)

Location :Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Data Extraction & Multi-Report Analysis

  • Take daily and periodic ownership of extracting, consolidating, and analyzing high-volume raw transaction data dumps from the Core Banking System (CBS).

  • Conduct rigorous, pattern-based, rule based, behavioral based analysis across critical ledgers/ reports.

  • Synthesize these disparate data feeds to map interconnected accounts and identify anomalies.

2. Regulatory Reporting (STR/SAR Filing)

  • Submit reports as per BFIU/BB or other approved agencies requirements.

  • Lead the drafting and secure submission of high-quality Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) via the BFIU goAML web portal, ensuring absolute adherence to statutory timelines.

  • Draft precise, data-backed responses to ad-hoc information requests and directives received from the BFIU or law enforcement agencies.

  • Ensure to prepare and submit the other regulatory reports accurately and timely.

3. Audit, Investigation & Case Reconstructions

  • Take ownership of internal referrals from branches, digital channels, and anomalies discovered during raw data reviews.

  • Reconstruct financial trails manually by reviewing historical account statements, KYC folders, and underlying vouchers to determine the true economic rationale of flagged activities.

  • Conduct branch/sub-branch audit to ensure branch AML & CFT activities under risk based approached from self-assessment report and Independent testing procedures from ICCD regular audit.

  • Conduct deep-dive reviews of customer behaviors across retail, SME, corporate, and card accounts to isolate high-risk indicators.

  • Ensure to collect and analyze the all branches self-assessment reports and take corrective actions to develop the branch standard.
