Experience:
Essential: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) (4 years course) + Registration from Bangladesh Pharmacy Council as A Grade Pharmacist.
M. Pharma is desirable.
Job Context: Defining, coordinating and monitoring all pharmacy related activities in the Mission, according to MSF standards and values, the Medical Coordinator instructions and with consideration of national and international laws and regulations, in order to ensure the quality and proper organisation of medical supply process, procedures and protocols, the proper management of the medical stock in the projects and, in collaboration with the medical coordinator, the correct use of medicines and medical material.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the Project Medical Referent (PMR) and Pharmacy Supervisors based on contextual and operational needs.
Perform duties with an approximate allocation of 60% field-based activities and 40% coordination-level activities, or as directed by the direct line manager.
Provide structured technical feedback to the PMR and Medical Coordinator (MedCo) through appropriate reporting mechanisms on pharmacy operations.
Take the lead in strategic pharmacy operations in support of the PMR and MedCo.
Provide continuous functional and technical support to the pharmacy team across all pharmacy activities, with particular focus on GSDP follow-up, rational prescription practices, Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) in EUUs including self-assessment, and monitoring compliance with organizational policies, guidelines, and protocols.
Plan and conduct regular trainings for pharmacy staff and other health professionals as required.
Support the PMR in finalizing and implementing regular IMOs, Participate in Annual Review of Operations (ARO) exercises, forecasting, pharma sizing, recruitment processes, HR-related needs including incidents and staff conduct, and staff development planning.
Ensure proper technical follow-up of the integrated medical warehouse at coordination level by conducting regular GSDP assessments and finalizing and monitoring CAPA plans.
Maintain effective follow-up with the Supply Department in defining and ensuring adherence to international and internal supply organograms.
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with inter-sectional teams to ensure appropriate follow-up of local purchases and E-validations.
Maintain regular communication with inter-sectional pharmacist (ISP) to remain updated on supply-related challenges, country constraints, local purchase issues, and national regulations on controlled and narcotic drugs.
Maintaining a good follow-up of loans re-imbursements, loan returns, donations, pipelines and BOs at mission and project level. Having a good communication with other sections’ pharmacists.
Act as an operational focal point for HQ pharma unit; ensure sharing information and updates regarding the new initiative, tools, platforms for stock management and pharma related topics.
Medical standard list: Precise and updated list of medication corresponding to the operations, well posted in MSF different platforms (Portal, UD…)

Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary will be applicable based on the current income tax rule.
There are no provisions for relocation.
