Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, costing, and sourcing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (ERP, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from product development through to order shipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and suppliers to ensure clarity and timely flow of information.
- Oversee costing, sampling, order placement, production follow-up, and shipment coordination.
- Evaluate and negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
- Supervise and mentor junior merchandisers to enhance team performance. Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and logistics teams to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
- Analyze customer preferences, market trends, and sales data to guide product planning and assortment.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, testing, and documentation requirements as per buyer standards. Ensure coordination warehouse; monitor inventory report from warehouse on a regular basis.
- Also, you need to prepare style coloring report at the end of a style completely shipped out.
- Facilitate timely goal setting across all departments of the plant by providing support to implement corporate guidelines on the goal-setting process.
- Lingerie customer related experience preferable.
