Educational Requirements:
∎ Textile Graduates from reputed University will be preferable.
∎ Qualification may be relaxed in case of deserving candidates.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicate by E-mail in English with customer directly for clarifying & Approving all trims/accessories.
∎ PD Merchandiser monitors product development, reviews all communication with customer and guides developers in order to get "first time right sample approval"
∎ S/he analyzes the production sensibilities to increase business or solving the risk of the product to avoid trouble in bulk production
∎ Directs tasks related to pattern and sample making
∎ S/he coordinates with Supply Chain department so that they ensure local and foreign sourcing and supply at right time
∎ PD Merchandiser supports Merchandising department to prepare product costing
∎ S/he contributes in Product category balancing with Merchandising Manager to meet annual turnover
∎ S/he inspires to create new ideas, communicates with Sales Management Team (Merchandising Team) or Client's Design Team (Marketing Team) regarding design ideas, makes arrangement for offering and leads the development of product with agreed designs.
∎ S/he sets product categories according to company's capabilities and contributes in Strategic Business Planning
∎ PD Merchandiser enriches the design studio. In addition s/he supports print and embroidery to develop own library.
∎ Will organize periodic meeting with his/her team and review progress of his/her individual member's KPIs(Key Performance Indicator) and guide accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At Least 5 Years at relevant field.
∎ The applicants should have experience in related business area.
∎ Garments Headwear is preferable.
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(S): Purchase / Procurement, Supply Chain and should trims & accessories for Garments Headwear (CAP & HAT).
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(S): Garments Headwear (CAP & HAT).
∎ Excellent in written and oral communication in both Bangla and English.
∎ Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
∎ Personal Situation-Must be nature and domestically secure.
∎ Computer Skills- Must be adept in use of MS Office 2007,8 &10 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and email
∎ Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand basic business calculations, e.g., percentages and ratio calculations etc.
∎ Communication Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
