Responsibilities & Context:

·        The Candidate must have sound knowledge of the sweater industry (Jacquard)

·        Lead and deal with the Buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including marketing, sales, instant price quotation, negotiation, and sourcing.

·        Arrange all kinds of Yarn, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production by leading a team effectively.

·        Keep liaison with Buyers for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow-up & export planning.

·        Maintain various documents (buyer-wise, style-wise, order wise).

·        Regular monitoring of the production lines/factories to achieve timely shipment

·        Daily basis update to divisional head & other's concerns on own accord.

·        Follow up the order by using the Order Follow-up System and use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status.

·        Independently prepare Time and Action (T&A) plans and follow up accordingly.

·        Monitor the production status and progress, and solve the related issues.

·        Follow up on Developments, Samples, and Production with a high degree of personal responsibility.

·        Monitoring of overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc.

·        Make sure smooth production and shipment are on time.

·        Work closely with production units to ensure the buyer's requirements.
