Job Context
Sourcing Corporation is a trading and buying house located in Uttara, Dhaka. We specialize in exporting a wide range of ready-made garments to global markets including the UK, Europe, and Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Merchandiser who will manage the full merchandising process, from product development to shipment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with buyers, suppliers, and factories regarding orders, product requirements, and delivery timelines.
Develop and follow up product samples, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.
Prepare costing, price quotations, and handle order negotiations with buyers.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and shipment deadlines are met.
Maintain strong coordination with quality, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
Solve issues proactively during production and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain order status reports and update buyers regularly.
Requirements
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in merchandising (preferably in a buying house/trading company).
Strong knowledge of sweater/woven/knit garments and production processes.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Good negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and handle multiple buyers/orders simultaneously.
Educational Requirements
Minimum Graduate from a recognized university.
Educational background in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Business Administration, or related field will be an added advantage.
