Job Context:
∎ Looking For : Merchandiser for a Canadian Fashion Brand - Woven Tops (Sweatshirts)
∎ Just Like Hero is a Canadian Fashion company located in Toronto. It has been growing at nearly 300% annually ever since it launched in 2016.
∎ The company`s main focus is on CVC fleece apparel including crewneck sweatshirts, quarter-zip sweatshirts, pullover hoodies, full-zip hoodies and sweatpants.

∎ We are currently looking for a chief merchandiser who will be in charge of the team in Bangladesh.
∎ The main role of this position is to ensure to meet the company`s quality standard, shipment handover deadlines, and communicate with the head office in Toronto in a daily basis.
∎ Age is never a problem, being young is definitely an asset.
∎ The founder of Just Like Hero is currently 29 years old and leading the team with its average age of 24 years old.
∎ IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand and follow buyer's products tech packs and needs.
∎ Coordinate with factories and suppliers to meet buyer's production schedule and shipment deadlines.
∎ Inspecting raw materials and accessories before production. Including:
∎ Fabric shrinkage test
∎ Fabric stability test
∎ Fabric pilling test
∎ Fabric multi fiber colour fastness test
∎ Fabric colour swatch requirements
∎ Drawstring / other accessories colour fastness test & pilling test
∎ Inspecting garments in pre-production phase: Inspecting all measurements of garments according to the tech pack requirements.
∎ Monitor and ensure high consistency in garment quality:
∎ No loose / open threads
∎ No stains and holes are fabric
∎ All measurements are within buyers' requirements.
∎ Detect quality and production processing discrepancies and report to buyers in Canada.
∎ Solve new-found problems between buyers and the factories.
∎ Monitor production schedule and provide daily production report on the Google sheets for buyers.
∎ Reinforce the correct style of garment finishing, folding, and packing according to buyers' standards.
∎ Follow up on all exporting documents from the garment factories and ensure prompt delivery to buyers in Canada.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Applicants MUST have at least 3 year experience one of the following areas:
∎ Merchandiser in garment (cutting & sewing) manufacturing
∎ Merchandiser or QC in buying house
∎ Must have strong sense to inspect the quality of garments.
∎ Must have in depth knowledge of woven fabrics: Single Jersey, French Terry and CVC Fleece fabric.
∎ Communication/ Language Requirements:
∎ Must be able to accommodate to communicate with Canadian buyers in Toronto following the Eastern Standard Time.
∎ Must be fluent in English in reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
∎ Leadership Requirements:
∎ Capable of completing stressful deadlines of all accessories and fabric production schedule as well as the deadlines of ready made garments at garment factories.
∎ Great sense of time management to coordinate with many suppliers to ensure timely shipment.
∎ High attention to details to strictly follow standards and instruction to meet buyers' requirements.
∎ Strong leadership to guide the entire team.
∎ Technology Requirements:
∎ Must have an up-to-date smartphone and laptop to communicate with Canadian Buyers
∎ Must be fluent in using communication smartphone APPs including Wechat, Whatsapp, and Line.
∎ Must be tech savvy to adopt new operational computer software and phone apps.
∎ Great skills in using Gmail, Google Office Suite, Microsoft office word, excel.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 75000 (Monthly)
