Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Textile Technology
∎ Candidates Having Professional Degree In Apparel Merchandising / Fashion Design will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
∎ In the product development process to ensure that products meet customers quality and budget requirement.
∎ Problem solve and trouble shoot ability that may arise during development and/or production.
∎ Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge on DENIM, KNIT & SWEATER with capacity of handling very demanding and renowned customer.
∎ Arrange sample submission to customer for approval.
∎ Monitor opening of LC's(by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder,Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc .
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in following area(s): Merchandising.
∎ Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Proficient in the use of computer,e.g.MS Word,Excel,Internet etc.
∎ Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage,very good communication skills both spoken and written in English and Bangla,ability to speak any other language will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
