Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in any discipline, prefer in Textiles Education.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be responsible for monitoring and sourcing for individual order from beginning to shipment.
∎ To review fit and pre-production & Production samples with the Garment technical department, to ensure that all key comments are followed.
∎ To follow-up on all new development projects with factories, to ensure, timely submission of samples, pricing details & any other specific's requested by the client.
∎ To ensure that all style files have all the necessary information for an accurate handover to the quality department.
∎ Strong & Adequate working knowledge of sourcing, Market Survey, Negotiation Skill.
∎ Good knowledge in price quotation and product development.
∎ To prepare purchase orders, internal order & costing sheets.
∎ Sound knowledge on production (pattern, consumption and wash etc.)
∎ Have to coordinate with marketing, design, supply chain, production & quality department of the company very professionally.
∎ To mediate production and quality department and work closely with Q. A. Team to ensure best final product & take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
∎ Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.
∎ Try to give maximum lead time to production & thinking for maximum profit from all merchandise.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling very demanding and globally renowned customers.
∎ Must be expert in sourcing new buyers, collecting orders, shipment follow-up and communication with buyers.
∎ Ability to work as a team player.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven with amicable personality.
∎ Maintain Weekly progress reports, with up to date information on all orders & outstanding issues. Need to proactively inform to head of merchandising up to date on any exceptions.
∎ To perform additional duties to meet with the Company's needs as required and assigned by management.
∎ To work closely with related departments, vendors and clients to resolve development/ production issues and outstanding, whist updating the client on the WIP progress on a weekly.
∎ To accompany clients to visit vendors and factories during their trips & production.
∎ To ensure that all style files have all the necessary information for an accurate handover to the quality department.
∎ Any other responsibility assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have Sports Wear Handling Experience.
∎ Must have 5-6 years working experience.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments for same position.
∎ Must be hardworking, highly organized deadline oriented, honest and dedicated and self-motivated.
∎ Have excellent skills and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must be Skilled in English Writing & Spoken.
∎ Must have good skill in computer literacy.
∎ Must have good communication and interpersonal skill with pleasant personality.
