Job Context:
∎ Must have 5 to 8 years working experience in any Knit garments factory.
∎ Must have Knitwear handling experience and ability to follow-up orders, production and ensure timely delivery.
∎ Must be able to independently calculate the requirement of Yarn, Fabric or any other raw materials.
∎ Must be able to independently order Yarn, Fabric or any Raw materials to the local or foreign supplier
∎ Must have excellent product knowledge and ability to handle globally renowned brand customers or buyers.
∎ Must be able to source and communicate with new buyers and collect orders
∎ Must be able to follow-up with buyers on production and shipment of orders
∎ Must have strong working knowledge of sourcing, market survey and negotiation skill.
∎ Must have good knowledge in price quotation and product development.
∎ Must have sound knowledge on production pattern, consumption and wash etc.
∎ Must be hardworking, organized, deadline oriented, honest, dedicated and self-motivated.
∎ Must have excellent skills set and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must be skilled in speaking and writing in English with good ability to handle computer.
∎ Must be a pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Be ready to stay at nearby Factory area at Narayanganj from the day of joining
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Actively monitor and source for individual orders from contract till shipment.
∎ Review fit, pre-production &production samples with the factory technical department, to ensure all key comments are followed.
∎ Follow-up all new development projects with factories to ensure timely submission of samples, pricing details & any other specific's requested by the client.
∎ Prepare purchase orders, internal order & costing sheets.
∎ Coordinate with marketing, design, supply chain, production & quality department of the company very professionally.
∎ Work closely with production, quality control /QA Team to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage and ensure best final product.
∎ Co-ordinate with production team in order to deliver timely shipment and ensure merchandisers is updating order status to buyer.
∎ Ensure all style files are updated with detail information for an accurate handover to the quality department.
∎ Provide required lead time to production & look for maximizing profit from all merchandise.
∎ Maintain weekly progress reports with up to date information on all orders & outstanding issues. Proactively inform head of merchandising on any exceptions.
∎ Accompany clients to visit vendors and factories during their trips & production.
∎ Perform additional duties to meet with the Company's needs as required and assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Selected candidate will have to work for minimum 2 years
∎ Candidate will have to stay at Narayanganj from the day of joining
Salary:
