Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proactive involvement in handling all merchandising related functions independently as well as working in close conjunction with merchandising team members in overseeing different clients/customers' accounts, beginning from yarn consumption till final inspection and order shipment.
∎ Effective liaison with existing/new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders and meeting export-marketing target.
∎ Coordination and managing the overall activities related to Merchandising (Order taking, order execution and shipment) of export oriented garments products effectively and efficiently.
∎ Scheduling and supervising time and action plans for sample section programs in synchronized manner for timely delivery to buyers/customers, as well as conducting independently inspections of the sample garments before being sent to clients/customers.
∎ To arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics and accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for production.
∎ Engaging in style-wise critical path analysis to ensure optimum merchandising support to the various interrelated department to ensure on-time shipment schedules.
∎ Ensure and monitor shipment of the product.
∎ Carry out any other responsibilities assigned/instructed by the senior management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Should have practical experience in merchandising with renowned buyers.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office applications, mail communication, uses of internet is a must.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Communication skills both in oral and written in English.
∎ Sound and solid knowledge about fabric color, weights, finishing, washing etc.
∎ Must be very familiar with the current fashion and trends.
