Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in a Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology from any recognized University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Help develop a detailed mental health and psychosocial support strategy. Ensure that approaches are consistent, technically effective, evidence based and innovative.
∎ Provide guidance and technical oversight to staff, partners and other collaborating agencies to ensure that activities, vision and plans for the program are in line with Caritas program strategies.
∎ Ensure coordination of program interventions with other agencies through linkages with coordination structures, government ministries, and other service providers.
∎ Represent Caritas Bangladesh in all external, technical coordination fora. Participate in MHPSS Technical Working Group meetings or other relevant sectoral meetings to inform key stakeholders of the work being done and continue to assess community needs.
∎ Provide technical supervision to staff on protection and SGBV case Management.
∎ Accompany volunteers for counseling and provision of psychosocial support.
∎ Develop training plan on SGBV, MHPSS, and counseling; facilitate sessions, with support of the Protection Officer and other resource agencies.
∎ Develop community facilitation guide for SGBV prevention sessions and train staff and volunteers to facilitate the sessions among men and women.
∎ Understand SGBV referral pathways and all stakeholders involved for case management.
∎ Contribute to developing SoPs for the team in identification of cases and case management.
∎ Ensure that the program's strategic objectives and results, linked to mental health and psychosocial support, are fully accomplished and meet expected technical quality standards.
∎ Collaborate with key individuals, Coordination sectors and working groups, relevant Government Ministries, counterpart institutions and NGOs, local organizations and civic groups on mental health and psychosocial programming and protection needs and priorities.
∎ Ensure all protection activities respect quality minimum standards (IASC Guidelines on MHPSS) and protection principles, and confidentiality re: data management, particularly for case management and counseling.
∎ Report to the Project Director on protection trends, strategy for the program and need of support.
∎ Promote Protection Mainstreaming standards of practice throughout Caritas, including "do no harm", and principles of safety, accessibility, equity, and dignity.
∎ Stimulate knowledge generation, learning and sharing among staff and partners on MHPSS and protection-related concerns.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in Women & Child Protection or Community-based psychosocial programming. Experience in working in emergency programs as well as Rohingya Response context is strongly preferred.
∎ Should have knowledge on counseling, SGBV case management and referral pathways.
∎ Should have experience in developing training content on SGBV and MHPSS.
∎ Should have experience of supervising staff in technical areas, as well as overall project management.
∎ Should have ability to effectively develop and maintain relationships with management, staff, and stakeholders at all levels, including local and international agencies.
∎ Should have ability to inspire others; to pass his/her skills to others and to motivate them to put them into practice.
∎ Should have ability to motivate staff and volunteers in a challenging protection environment.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, coordination and training skills.
∎ Should have ability to engage with local and international agencies.
∎ Should have ability to problem solve and identify resources in the Environment.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English language. Speaking ability in Chittagonian local dialect is a plus.
∎ Knowledge on ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), etc., is essential.
∎ Should have persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges.
∎ Should have leadership and managerial skills.
∎ Should be creative and innovative.
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities.
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal and policies.

Salary: Tk. 80000 (Monthly)
