Job Context:
∎ Nawar Handicraft is a cooperative enterprise of some underprivileged women in Rangpur Bangladesh that generates a sustainable income for disadvantaged women. Nawar produces numerous handicrafts’ items that they sell in various areas in Bangladesh. To enhance employment and income of rural women through improved skills, market access, protection, capacity building and empowerment of rural women’s producer groups, Islamic Relief Sweden together with Islamic Relief, Bangladesh carried out Nawar project to empower and enhance income of rural women. After phasing out of the project, Nawar Handicraft independently operating their business with some management support of Islamic Relief Bangladesh. Nawar is looking for an experienced person (only female) who has knowledge in running a boutique shop, fashion design and expand the business of women clothing.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure product delivery and installation within the committed time to the customers and coordinate after-sales services to previous customers in order to build long term business relationship.
∎ Create an idea and produce the design by hand.
∎ Making collection based on requirements
∎ Develop and manage digital/online marketing campaigns.
∎ Manage and maintain the organization's Facebook page
∎ Write and optimize content for the website and facebook and social media pages.
∎ Create a customer network and update the database by putting visit information.
∎ Projecting expected sales volume, plan and implement sales program
∎ Daily effective follow up with existing and potential customers to increase the sales
∎ Maintain and submit the inventory/stock report to the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in working with Boutique and women clothing business.
∎ Have fashion knowledge on latest local Bangladeshi and Indian women's fashion trends.
∎ Should have a good sense of product quality, creativity, and innovation.
∎ Knowledge of liaising closely with different boutique shops.
∎ Have knowledge on facebook and other e-marketing
