Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex legal jargon into actionable advice for engineers and executives.

Software Proficiency: Experience with Contract Management Software (CMS) and ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle).



Responsibilities & Context:

Role Context & Responsibilities

The contract manager will be responsible to handle the correspondence with PGCB / Sub-contractor. Dealing with all correspondence and their actions based on contract conditions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of contract management strategies that align with Transrail’s project goals and risk appetite.

  • Negotiation & Drafting: The response to employer / Sub-contractor based on the contractual parameters.

  • Risk Mitigation: Conduct rigorous risk assessments of contract terms, identifying potential liabilities and developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all contracts adhere to local laws, international standards, and internal corporate governance policies.

  • Claims Management: Oversee the resolution of disputes, claims, and change orders. You will work closely with legal and project teams to defend the company’s interests.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of contract administrators, ensuring a high standard of professional development and operational efficiency.

  • Lifecycle Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for contract milestones, ensuring deliverables are met and payments are processed on time.
