• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies, biological processes, and RO/UF systems.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

• Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant.

• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations.

• Operation & Maintenance of ETP, WTP, recycle system post commissioning, achieve the monthly targets in line with the budget/set target.

• Manage daily operations of ETP, WTP and Recycle System, ensuring compliance with DOE and BEPZA norms and environmental regulations.

• Lead a team of operators and technicians, providing training and ensuring safety protocols.

• Monitor and optimize treatment processes to meet discharge standards.

• Organize and direct all facets of water operations and maintenance including process laboratory testing.

• Oversee sludge management, recycling, and disposal in line with regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular water quality testing and ensure proper functioning of treatment equipment.

• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records for audits.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely renewals of permits.

• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining treatment efficiency.
