Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Cloud Infrastructure team at InterCloud Limited and oversee the day-to-day work of the team members.
∎ Ensure and evolve the proper monitoring and alerting applications of infrastructure, ensure team operates within a defined set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
∎ Ensure proper escalation / resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) regarding all issues and ensure timely resolution of any problems.
∎ Work with internal departments and external vendors to ensure infrastructure is adequately maintained.
∎ Maintain and publish inventory list of Cloud Infrastructure and SLAs across all teams and services.
∎ Responsible for building and supporting a team of highly motivated individuals in their pursuit of excellence.
∎ Manage personnel activities of staff (i.e., hires, mentors, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends as necessary) and forecast ongoing staff requirements to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
∎ Serve as a primary liaison among various business groups within InterCloud Limited, representing the Cloud Infrastructure team.
∎ Primarily responsible for 24/7 administration functions of cloud operations team and provide direct team leadership and coaching to a team charged with managing cloud operations.
∎ Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
∎ Participate in post implementation project evaluations and collaborate with other teams for operational readiness.
∎ Participate as a member of, or leader of, various committees and conduct team meetings as scheduled.
∎ Ensure effective communication between direct reports and other functional units, provide regular project/task status updates.
∎ Inspire team members to continuously drive process improvements and ensure technical coverage is provided over customer complaints and monitoring tools.
∎ Work on problems of diverse scope where data requires complex analysis.

∎ Experience with identifying and quantifying business value of cloud technology.
∎ Excellent organizational, operational leadership, decision making and communications skills.
∎ Full understanding of industry practices.
∎ Proven ability to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways.
∎ Excellent creative problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility.
∎ Installation, configuration and management of OpenStack, Ceph Storage and Commvault backup & recovery service.
∎ Installation, configuration and management of Linux Server including server management task automation using Shell script, Ansible.
∎ Installation, configuration and management of mail server, DNS server, LDAP and Virtualization with Vmware, KVM & XEN.
∎ Having practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes Containers, Helm chart, Openshift, TripleO, Openstack-Ansible and Kolla-Ansible.
∎ Having previous experience with CEPH, GlusterFS, NFS and NetApp Solidfire Storage including automation tool: puppet, chef.
∎ Having sound knowledge in IP Routing (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS etc), Switching, and Security System.
∎ Having practical experience in Installing & Tuning Monasa, Grafana, Prometheus & Zabbix monitoring systems including experience with Observium, Cacti & Nagios.
∎ Hands on experience on database (Oracle, MYSQL, mongodb & PostgreSQL) installation & configuration.
∎ Participate in conducting different R&Ds in order to integrate any upgrade, or implementation of new technology.
