    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Cost & Management Accounting
  1. PGD in Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Procurement:

a)    Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

b)    Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.

c)    Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.

d)    Evaluate and manage risks associated with sourcing and procurement activities.

2. Production:

a)    Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are aligned with supply chain activities.

b)    Ensure that production schedules meet customer demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

c)    Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production efficiency and quality.

d)    Address and resolve any production issues that may impact the supply chain.

3. Inventory Management:

a)    Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

b)    Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.

c)    Implement inventory control systems to track and manage stock movements and storage.

d)    Coordinate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

4. Commercial:

a)    Oversee commercial activities including order processing, pricing, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

b)    Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.

c)    Manage relationships with key customers and address any issues or concerns promptly.

d)    Analyze market trends and adjust commercial strategies to align with business objectives.

5. Logistics:

a)    Develop and manage logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of products.

b)    Oversee the selection and management of logistics service providers, including carriers and freight forwarders.

c)    Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements to enhance delivery times and reduce costs.

d)    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in transportation and logistics operations.
