Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have experience in the steel industry.
∎ Salary is negotiable and will depend upon qualification and experience.
∎ Capable of maintaining proper inventory and make things available as quick as possible.
∎ Able to maintain an accurate record of all goods received on a daily basis both in software and hard copy/register.
∎ Ensures that calculations for requisitions are performed properly and in compliance with the policy of the Company.
∎ Maintains all the reports of purchased and stored goods' statistics.
∎ Maintains current knowledge and skills and changing trends in the inventory control area including all aspects of balancing company investment with manufacturing levels.
∎ Understands to a level of computer systems to adjust with any type of software related to store keeping.
∎ Determine the parts that are to be kept in inventory which can satisfy service goals.
∎ Maximum level of knowledge especially in spare parts used in steel mills and also transports will be given priority.
∎ Determines all rules to be followed for disposal of parts that are not required and also non-returnable to the manufacturer.
∎ Coordinates with subordinates, parts management, accounting staff, and external companies for the proper disposal of scrapped parts.
∎ Maintains all recording concerning the scrapped and returned parts.
∎ Conducts frequent physical inventory audits to verify the accuracy of computer records and provides all necessary reporting for inventory adjustments between - Assists in general maintenance and cleanup of the Store.
∎ Maintains database on all fast moving spares and make sure their storage in due course of time.
∎ Some shipment arrives at night or dawn. Prepare to receive those on time.
