Responsibilities & Context:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets for jute and jute products.
  • Identify and target new international markets and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and distributors.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with international buyers.

Marketing and Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote jute products and brand awareness.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Export and Logistics Management:

  • Oversee the entire export process, ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations and customs requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage documentation, including letters of credit, shipping bills, and other export-related paperwork.
  • Resolve any issues related to shipping or logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.

Team building and Management:

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior members of the sales and marketing team.
  • Set performance metrics and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and results.
