• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management

• Candidates having PGD in HRM or Diploma in Social Compliance will have an added advantage.

• Candidates having minimum 03 years in similar position of hands-on experience in managing the Compline related activities of Garments or Textile Factory.

• Must have vast knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act-2006 and amendment act-2018, Labor law rules-2015 and amendment rules-2022 is must.

• Should have vast knowledge in different USA and European buyer audit.

• Should have proven leadership and communication skills and must able to correspond via E-mail.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Should be well conversant with computer applications.

Mithela Textile Industries Limited is a sister concern of Mithela Group, located in Khanpara, Dhuptara, Araihazar, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. This is a 100% export-oriented weaving, solid dyeing, printing and finishing woven factory having modern sophisticated machinery. The candidate must have thorough knowledge on factory compliance in regard to foreign buyers as H&M, M&S, WALMART, Uniqlo, Target USA etc. The deserve candidate must have knowledge on Labor law, Fire Safety and Civil defense and Environmental Law etc. The Organization is going to hire a knowledgeable Compliance Manager for their highly expertise professional team in a purely corporate environment in Factory located in Araihazar, Narayanganj. The team member should be highly professional, self-motivated & self-driven, loyal to the company at highest level.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager / Manager (Compliance) will lead the regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives of the organization and closely work with all the related Government Office like Labor Office, Fire Services and Civil defense, environment office, boiler office etc. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor and environmental regulations, and promoting sustainable business practices in alignment with corporate values and international standards.

Job Responsibilities

• The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the overall Compliance related activities for the Factory effectively & efficiently.
• Conversant with the Labor & Industrial Laws of Bangladesh and Code of Conduct of different RMG buyers.
• Experienced in Policy, Organization development & Implementation.
• To ensure and implement factory compliance requirements as per different renowned buyer COC & legal standards.
• Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of all statutory licenses and permits required by regulatory authorities.
• Lead and coordinate all social, environmental, technical, security, and buyer-specific factory audits with proper preparation and documentation commonly all required in Bangladesh.
• Prepare the factory for scheduled and unannounced audits through internal audits, gap assessments, mock audits, and cross-functional reviews.
• Review audit findings, develop Corrective Action Plans and ensure timely closure of all non-compliances.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation including HR files, wage records, permits, and safety documents.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with legal requirements on wages, working hours, overtime, manpower ratios, benefits, and worker rights.
• Conduct routine compliance and safety inspections to identify risks, violations, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, and other teams to ensure effective implementation of compliance standards factory-wide.
• Act as the main liaison with buyers, auditors, government officials, and certification bodies to facilitate audits, inspections, and evaluations smoothly.
• Candidates who have adequate experience & expertise in performing the above-mentioned jobs independently in a reputed Woven Textile Factory or Garments factory are only encouraged to apply.
