Job Context:
∎ The position represents an excellent opportunity to join a well-known and respected garment manufacturer based in the Savar EPZ in Dhaka.
∎ The company has recently undertaken a thorough review of our existing SAP ECC 6.0 AFS implementation and has a clearly defined roadmap for consolidating the existing implementation and moving forward with new functionality with the objective of a successful MRP implementation.
∎ We are now looking to recruit an experienced SAP Implementation Manager to work in a very hands-on capacity, who will be responsible for leading a team of five SAP IT people in driving the successful implementation of SAP solutions and the roadmap,
∎ Once the road map has been successfully implemented a longer-term strategy will need to be defined and implemented
Job Responsibilities:
∎ SAP Systems Management
∎ Build, mentor, and manage a team of SAP developers, consultants and analysts.
∎ Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
∎ Actively promote the most effective use of SAP throughout the business
∎ Project Leadership:
∎ Lead and manage the end-to-end SAP projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables through to implementation.
∎ SAP Configuration - Hands on.
∎ Collaborate with internal SAP team and external consultants to configure SAP solutions to address business requirements, integrate with existing systems, and follow standard SAP best practices.
∎ Provide leadership and hands on support in proposing and executing SAP system configuration through to implementation to achieve the roadmap.
∎ Ensure where possible that this promotes the use of standard SAP functionality.
∎ Ensure that all SAP configuration changes are fully tested covering both unit and user acceptance testing.
∎ Implementation
∎ Ensure that prior to implementation that all changes are supported by documentation covering both technical specification and end user training / business procedure documents.
∎ Provide end user training and support to the teams impacted by change.
∎ Ensure a smooth transition to post-implementation super user support teams and assist in resolving any post-implementation issues that may arise and provide required documentation to support implementation.
∎ SAP/System Management
∎ Establish quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to ensure the ongoing use of SAP implementations meet agreed process and organizational expectations.
∎ Develop and execute a change management plan to facilitate user adoption of the new SAP processes.
∎ Support
∎ Ensure the high availability and support of the SAP system and infrastructure to avoid impact of downtime to the business and disruption.
∎ Provide 2nd Level support for all SAP modules. These currently include Materials Management, Procurement, Sales and Distribution, Production.
∎ Ensure all SAP contractual obligations are met and adhered to.
∎ Vendor Management:
∎ If applicable, oversee third-party vendors or consulting firms involved in the SAP implementation ensuring that their work aligns with project goals and quality standards.

∎ Proven experience in SAP implementation projects, with a track record of successful project delivery. Specialization in Materials Management, Procurement, Production and Sales and Distribution
∎ Awareness of impact and implications of configuration change upon Financial modules
∎ - Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and functionality.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Project management experience
