Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist HOSM to implement the overall sales and marketing plan, incorporating an action plan strategies in order to ensure that the objectives of sales/marketing plans are achieved.
∎ To carry a regular sales call along with the sales team and monitor all call activity.
∎ Make sure ownership revenue targets are achieved.
∎ Make regular sales call to top producing accounts and solicit new accounts.
∎ Introduce new Marketing action plans including PR, Advertising Strategy.
∎ Recommends to ownership as appropriate, and coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes the analysis of the changing market trends, advertising, sales promotion, publicity, public relations.
∎ Make sure the rates are updated in major distribution channels and all travel agents and tour operators.
∎ Recruit, train and motivate sales and marketing staff according to company procedures and policy.
∎ Establish and maintain files on major hotel accounts.
∎ Maintained and develop corporate image and business to protect and develop the hotel brand via suitable PR activity and intellectual sales/marketing strategies.
∎ Plan and manage internal communication and awareness of corporate direction, mission aims and activities.
∎ Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ 8+ years experience in a branded hotel/resort in or outside of Bangladesh.
∎ Minimum 3 years in similar position.
∎ Possess good communication skills both written and spoken in English.
∎ Should be smart, dynamic and attentive to details.
∎ Strong leadership and inter-personal skills.
∎
