Responsibilities & Context:
  • Source and screen candidates for high-turnover various roles, often on very short notice

  • Coordinate walk-in interviews, trial shifts, and outlet-level hiring drives

  • Maintain a live manpower requisition tracker against outlet budgeted headcount

  • Complete joining formalities, such as appointment letters, ID cards, uniform issuance etc

  • Collect and verify documents (NID, certificates, references) and open personnel files

  • Conduct orientation on code of conduct, hygiene standards, grooming, and outlet-specific SOPs

  • Track attendance/biometric data across shifts (morning, evening, split shifts) and outlets

  • Coordinate with responsible personnel on duty rosters, weekly offs, and overtime approvals

  • Consolidate attendance and feed it into payroll processing

  • Flag discrepancies (late-ins, no-shows, absconding cases) for corrective action

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff grievances (roster disputes, interpersonal conflict with supervisors, harassment complaints)

  • Conduct exit interviews and track voluntary/involuntary separation reasons

  • Schedule and track completion of induction training, food safety/hygiene certification, and service-standard

  • Coordinate with outlet trainers/chefs for on-the-job training logs

  • Maintain training records for audit and certification renewal (especially food safety compliance)

  • Maintain statutory registers and support internal/external audits (labor inspectorate, food safety authority)

  • Ensure health and safety protocols (fire safety, kitchen safety, first aid readiness) are documented and followed

  • Coordinating with regulatory inspectors during outlet visits

  • Track attrition data by outlet/role and flag patterns (high kitchen-staff turnover) to management

  • Support performance appraisal data collection for outlet staff

  • Liaise with outlet managers who are operations-first and may deprioritize HR paperwork.
