∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct pre-production and quality training and provide high level directions to quality officers; Oversee cascade of directions to the team
∎ Organize internal training to be conducted by the buyer's team on production and quality parameters
∎ Conduct re-training for the team to explain quality parameters and guidelines on a regular basis
∎ Communicate inter departmental activities and coordinate with customer to ensure customer feedback has been treated and well established if there is any feedback from customer
∎ Guide auditors and checkers on all quality parameters like fabric construction, dyeing levelness, shrinkage, yarn and knitting defects and defects with other accessories used
∎ Responsible to ensure team adherence based on defined standard both customer and business internal SOP's
∎ Participate in pre-production meetings/trainings to discuss buyer wise quality specifications and guidelines
∎ Review allocation of work to the team based on the audit plan
∎ Track adherence to the plant schedule for production by keeping the quality check process in line with production timelines
∎ Review production plan to assess quality check timelines
∎ Lead buyer visits and final inspection before dispatch
∎ Ensure 5S effectiveness in relevant area whereas business requirement been meet
∎ Ensure Sustainable strategic problem-solving method are established and accessible for all to mitigate common issues among the team
∎ Oversee quality audits and tests (Lab test, AQL, pre final inspection, etc.) performed by the team members and resolve complex issues escalated on a daily basis
∎ Analyze quality discrepancies and the root cause analysis conducted by team; Guide team by sharing recommendation on the issue faced
∎ Evaluate process improvement ideas given by the team on a periodic basis, viability feasibility and cost effectiveness
∎ Lead implementation of improvement areas in the operations area in coordination with Operations team
∎ Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of yearly plans
∎ Manage effective resource allocation, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate HR interventions
