Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance policies and procedures.
∎ Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ Effectively interact with Technical, Development and Production team to maintain product quality; ensuring that targets are achieved.
∎ Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of products to identify and address any deviations from quality specifications.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
∎ Liaise with buyers to understand their specific quality requirements and ensure their expectations are met.
∎ Train and mentor quality control staff to maintain high-quality standards.
∎ Develop and maintain quality documentation and reports for internal and external use.
∎ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Having good logical thinking and analytical ability.
∎ Understanding the Total Quality Management (TQM).
∎ Proven experience in quality assurance management within the knit garments industry.
∎ Experience working with Japanese customers is strongly preferred.
∎ Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mind-set.
∎ Ability to lead and motivate a team.
∎ Proficient in relevant software and quality management tools.
∎ Ability to analyse data, create & review product, process & procedure.
∎ A desire to help others to achieve their best.
∎ Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions & metrics.
