∎ Good knowledge in textiles production and sourcing businesses
∎ Experience in clothing textiles, household product and consumer hardgoods commodity categories
∎ Experience in safety and quality standards for German, European and English market(s)
∎ Familiar with European/ UK /Australia /USA testing and safety standards, and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) Standards
∎ Practical hands-on experience in factories in terms of quality assessments & audits
∎ Qualifications and experience in Quality Audits and Inspections
∎ Proactive and result-oriented business approach
∎ Pleasant and mature personality with professional and positive attitude
∎ Sound managerial skills and experience
∎ Excellent communications and presentation skills
∎ Attention to details with good organization, planning and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent communications and interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communication skills in English;

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and responsible for on-site factory audit/ visit/ inspection/ production follow-up of the assigned product categories across the Supplier network in Southeast Asia regions
∎ Establish and maintain factory audit/ visit checklists per company requirement to ensure the company objectives are fulfilled
∎ Investigate quality/ fit issues, identify root causes and generate corrective action plans with production facilities in a timely manner to meet the company requirement and schedule
∎ Effectively communicate and follow-up with different business partners (e.g. QA / Buying / Sourcing / Sustainability/ Supply Chain / third parties) locally and overseas to ensure factory and production quality issues are resolved
∎ Conduct on-site factory visit and guide factory with follow-up actions to achieve company new quality strategies (e.g. Supplier Accreditation Program)
∎ Provide training and coaching to factory and drive continuous improvement initiatives
∎ Support regional offices to perform in-house sample review to ensure ALDI quality standard is fulfilled
∎ Liaise and co-ordinate with 3rd party for factory audit/visit where necessary
∎ Support and co-ordinate factory visits of surrounding areas for company visitors when necessary
∎ Support Senior Manager on projects and ad-hoc tasks
