Educational Requirements:
∎ A Bachelors degree or above in Fashion Designing/ Apparel Merchandising, etc. from BUFT or any reputed/ recognized University with national/global accreditation/ Masters in English from reputed public university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
4 to 5 years in the relevant position
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to execute orders from Sample till Bulk Delivery
∎ Have to run a Merchandising Team and coordinate activities with the Production Team
∎ Have to Coordinate merchandising functions on a daily basis with production/ production planning department to ensure timely development and delivery of sample programs and timely delivery of yarns/ accessories/ trims to factory as planned against the relevant time & action plans and schedules
∎ Have to work as a facilitator of merchandising functions with each of the merchandising team members to provide management team members daily integrated merchandise related status updates
∎ Ensure and monitor shipment of the product
∎ To generate related reports for the requirements of Management.
∎ Should relevant idea about auto mated high value machines in each process.
∎ Capable to execute order independently.
∎ Capable to follow up production in order to ensure on-time shipment.
∎ Negotiate & finalize price with vendors.
∎ Work out solution to problem.
∎ Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and processes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Be a team player and lead a team to meet the company objectives.
∎ Experienced in Sweaters.
∎ Graduate from BUFT get preference.
∎ Prior working experiences in similar working environments (merchandising, sampling, production, quality)
∎ Fluency in written and spoken communication in English
