Job Context:
∎ This position will be a key role for our company. This role may require working long hours, so flexibility is a plus. A Business Development Manager has to be experienced in Footwear Industry with sourcing new suppliers, management of dealing with all footwear Buyer & suppliers, new design of footwear collections and all responsibilities regarding business development.
∎ Job Location: Gulshan-2.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing new footwear suppliers. Research suppliers and negotiate contracts for product fulfilment processing.
∎ Product selection, Quotation analysis, Vendor selection, Product receiving, and stock maintain.
∎ Maintain business relationships with all suppliers.
∎ Develop business inception plan, Sales & marketing plan & strategies.
∎ Develop strategies to ensure the region consistently achieves or exceeds sales targets (Daily/Monthly/Yearly).
∎ Product Management for sales channels through extensive numerical analysis and justifications on monthly and yearly basis as preset target.
∎ Clear Understanding of financial knowledge, ratios and how it impacts the business.
∎ Perform competitive market analysis and market research to prepare season-wise paper shoe lines in the assigned categories/brands to ensure that Altair products are highly valued by the customers.
∎ Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and opportunities.
∎ Obtain market information by specifying the research to determine customers' needs and desires.
∎ Assist in determining product pricing Strategy by utilizing market research data to ensure maximize profit margin.
∎ Analyze Retail store mapping for ensuring a proper distribution plan.
∎ Ensure stock in-store as per sales target/ store, complimenting display capacity.
∎ Liaising with the store manager(s), Store Design & Development & Visual Merchandising team to ensure the products are displayed properly.
∎ Execute developed business strategies and identify opportunities to drive sales, increase Consumer Experience, and store traffic.
∎ Work with Product Management, Fulfilment and Central Distribution Center team for stock planning and allocation to ensure appropriate replenishment timeframes are met.

∎ Experience Requirements: 5 to 15 year(s).
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buyer Handling, Buyer Sourcing, International Business, Marketing and merchandising.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Footwear and Leather industry.
∎ Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills.
∎ Keep following up with new footwear collections.
∎ Analytical Skills.
∎ Fashion forecast.
∎ Maintain inventories of stock.
∎ Provide administrative support as and when required.
∎ Computer knowledge, specifically of MS Office applications and different type's software base work.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the management are required basis.
∎ Attentive manner towards detailed requirements is essential.
∎ Good working attitude, Honest and responsible.
