∎ • Professional certification in Maintenance Management or related fields.
∎ • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
∎ • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implementing Safety Protocols and Maintenance Best Practices:
∎ • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols such as Lockout-Tagout and Working at Heights during machine maintenance operations.
∎ • Implement and enforce best practices for machine maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
∎ Reviewing Designs and Ensuring Compliance:
∎ • Review machine maintenance plans, designs, and specifications to ensure they comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
∎ • Evaluate and select suppliers for new sewing machines, parts, and maintenance materials, ensuring they meet operational requirements and quality standards.
∎ Managing Project Schedules and Budgets:
∎ • Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets for sewing and non-sewing machines, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
∎ • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime and enhance production efficiency.
∎ Ensuring Regulatory Compliance:
∎ • Ensure all machine maintenance operations adhere to safety regulations and standards specific to sewing and non-sewing machinery.
∎ • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and equipment upgrades to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Monitoring Performance and Quality:
∎ • Conduct regular performance evaluations and inspections of sewing and non-sewing machines to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
∎ • Monitor machine performance metrics and quality standards to ensure reliability, efficiency, and consistent production output.
∎ Managing Maintenance Operations:
∎ • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for sewing and non-sewing machines to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
∎ • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and manage the procurement of spare parts as needed.
∎ Collaborating with Other Departments:
∎ • Work closely with production and engineering teams to address maintenance requirements related to new product types and machinery.
∎ • Provide input on machine-related aspects of new product designs, ensuring ease of fabrication, improved quality, and operational efficiency.
∎ Contributing to Operational Improvement Projects:
∎ • Lead initiatives to optimize machine maintenance processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
∎ • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects aimed at boosting machine performance and factory productivity.
