Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to monitor day to day operations of the Industrial Engineering functions;
∎ Check operation bulletin and Job scheduling on the basis of the buyer's order;
∎ Redesign the machine layout & work station layout according to operation bulletin to fulfil the production target;
∎ To do time study for recording the time of performing the task by operators;
∎ Identification of bottleneck areas to balance the line by reducing bottleneck;
∎ Check hourly production report and identify the factors of bottleneck;
∎ Follow up on the critical operation in the line;
∎ Check the daily efficiency report;
∎ Daily supervise the raw material status and ensure the incoming of raw materials for the next day to continue the next day's production properly;
∎ Analysis of labor cost, capacity planning & creation of production schedules;
∎ Resolve production problems;
∎ Reduce excess manpower or unused manpower in line;
∎ Develop factory efficiency and individual productivity;
∎ Reduce nonproductive time and excess working hour;
∎ To develop IE system and new procedures in our production facility;
∎ To introduce modern technology/techniques and procedure to increase efficiency;
∎ To improve M:M (Man: Machine) ratio;
∎ To develop system and process to reduce wastage of material;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Work experience: At least 5 years & including 2 years of managerial work experiences in local or global organization;
∎ Industry or business area: Incumbent's those who have work experience of garments (woven) shirts industry will get preferences;
∎ Languages: Fluent written and spoken English and Bengali;
∎ Computer skills: Computer proficiency-particularly MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
∎ Knowledge: knowledge of Information Technology working procedures;
∎ People reside or work near Gazipur will get preference.
