Educational Requirements:
∎ Honors / Masters in Human Resource Management.
∎ PGD in HRM will get extra preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments HR and Admin, HR and compliance
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation of Compliance in a Woven garments factory.
∎ Responsible to make and implement Company HR & Compliance policies as per local law and different buyer's codes of conduct.
∎ Carry out regular Compliance Audit in the Business Unit and put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation, and provide reports thereof.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Law and ILO convention Relevant on RMG/Textile sector in Bangladesh.
∎ Sound Knowledge of compliance requirements of ACCORD /RSC, Alliance, BSCI, OCS, SEDEX, GOTS, WRAP, CT-PAT, ISO 9001, 14001, OEKO-Tex-100, etc.
∎ Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
∎ Have to monitor all health, safety & environmental issues in the whole factory premises.
∎ Have to Perform Compliance audits at factories.
∎ Handling Disciplinary & Grievance, employee relation issues as per law.
∎ Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills on Compliance affairs.
∎ To counsel the absentee workers as referred by HR section, in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover.
∎ Communicate with BGMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation, etc
∎ To arrange training such as Orientation, Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, Security awareness training, etc. effectively.
∎ Any other job assigned by the head of the department/Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to deal with Management.
∎ Sound knowledge of computer applications is imperative
∎ Should be familiar with ISO and other CoC.
∎ Should have the ability to face different buyers' audits.
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Having sound knowledge regarding multi-storied building security & administration
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
∎ Should have sound language proficiency in Bangla & English.
