Experience:
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management, Masters of Business Studies (MBS) in Management or related field.
Human Resources Management:
1. HR Strategy and Policy Development:
Develop and implement HR policies, practices, and processes that align with the company’s strategic objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
Review and update HR policies regularly to ensure compliance with current laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Advise senior management on HR-related matters such as organizational design, workforce planning, and employee relations.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
Lead and oversee the recruitment process for the corporate office, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates for various departments.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for critical roles within the company.
Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with the company`s hiring goals.
Manage the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the organization.
3. Employee Engagement and Retention:
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, enhance productivity, and retain top talent.
Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and focus groups to gauge morale, identify issues, and improve workplace culture.
Create and manage recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements, milestones, and performance excellence.
4. Performance Management:
Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring that employees are assessed fairly and that development plans are implemented.
Provide guidance to department heads on employee performance issues and the application of disciplinary procedures, if necessary.
Support managers in the development of performance improvement plans and ensure follow-up on performance evaluations.
5. Training and Development:
Identify training and development needs within the corporate office and work with leadership to implement appropriate training programs.
Manage leadership development programs, soft skills training, and technical training to support employee growth and career development.
Promote a learning culture within the company to enhance skills, productivity, and overall employee performance.
6. Compensation and Benefits Management:
Oversee the compensation and benefits structure to ensure it is competitive within the power sector and aligns with company goals.
Monitor industry compensation trends and recommend adjustments to salary structures and benefits plans as needed.
Administer employee benefit programs (health, retirement, insurance, etc.) and ensure all benefits are accurately processed and communicated.
7. HR Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to HR and employment.
Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular HR reports for senior management, including turnover, headcount, and other key HR metrics.
Handle and resolve employee grievances in line with company policy and labor laws.
Administration and Office Management:
1. Office Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations at the corporate office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure the office operates without disruption.
Coordinate office relocations, renovations, and other major facilities-related projects.
2. Health, Safety, and Well-being:
Ensure the office environment complies with health and safety regulations and promotes employee well-being.
Oversee the management of office health programs, such as wellness initiatives or safety awareness campaigns.
